Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association: The Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association (CAPA) Is a nonprofit trade association representing the hot mix asphalt industry of Colorado. Over 240 organizations are members of CAPA, making it the voice of the asphalt industry throughout the state. CAPA has grown to include both producer and user organizations. Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists: On January 17, 1924 a small group of engineers met in Chicago, Illinois to establish an association for consideration of the technology of asphalt paving.
