Field Positions
Field engineer and technician responsibilities include sampling and testing asphalt, aggregate, concrete and soil. Training is provided. This position requires a good driving record, as projects are located throughout Colorado and a company vehicle will be assigned. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs. Flexibility regarding work hours and the ability to work out of town are required. Out of town expenses are paid.
Laboratory Positions
Laboratory engineer and technician responsibilities include testing aggregate, asphalt, binder, concrete, and soil in our Denver or a portable laboratory. Training is provided. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs.
These positions generally work 40-60 hours per week during construction season and time and one-half is paid for overtime. WesTest is a drug free workplace and a pre-employment drug test is required. For students with a flexible schedule we can accommodate part time work prior to the semester ending. An early start is preferred so training can be done prior to the construction season.
